Upon returning to Eau Claire, Laura began taking Tribal Fusion Belly Dance classes. After several years of taking classes she began to teach adult belly dance, and continues to attend seminars and take classes studying not only Tribal Fusion Belly Dance, but many styles of dance and physical movement.

As a performer, Laura has performed in many styles of dance. In addition to local performances, she has danced with the Northern Wisconsin Ballet and *Lynn (Modern) Dance Company at ChaliceStream (located near Ladysmith, Wisconsin).

"It is important to keep learning. Continuous learning enables me to improve the style and technique of my students. I have a great passion for dance, and the greatest joy for me is passing on what I have learned and to see that passion in my dancers! My years of training, dance experience, and understanding of proper body movement helped me develop a teaching style that realizes adult learners are not all the same, and gives everyone the ability to develop skills and confidence by executing the movements without injury, and most of all, to have fun while learning!!"
